The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) has announced the appointment of Dr. Amy Reddinger to the Commission on Small and Rural Colleges. This key advisory body informs AACC鈥檚 policies and initiatives impacting two-year institutions nationwide.

The AACC Commission on Small and Rural Colleges plays a vital role in shaping strategic priorities for community colleges that serve remote or less-populated areas. Commissioners offer guidance to the AACC Board of Directors on policies, programs, and advocacy efforts aimed at enhancing student success and institutional sustainability.

Dr. Reddinger will serve a three-year term on the commission, beginning July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2028. This prestigious appointment recognizes her leadership, dedication, and expertise in advancing educational opportunities within small and rural communities.
