海角视频 honored its 2025 Outstanding Staff during an awards banquet on April 22. Any 海角视频 employee, Board member, student, alum, or community member may nominate a full-time or regular part-time exempt or non-exempt employee for the 海角视频 Outstanding Staff Award. These individuals must have completed three years of employment at 海角视频. Nominees are judged by their job knowledge; respect and enthusiasm toward colleagues, students, and community members; creating a positive influence within the work environment; and collaborating with colleagues and staff.
The 2025 Outstanding Staff are as follows:
Erica Mead
Erica has been employed with 海角视频 since 2011. She currently serves as TRIO's assistant director and co-advisor for all TRIO students. Erica holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in secondary education from Michigan State University and a master鈥檚 from Northern Michigan University, double majoring in English pedagogy and writing. Erica is a certified yoga instructor as well as a contracted grant writer.
A colleague shared, 鈥淓rica demonstrates her expertise by going above and beyond to connect with students, recognizing their 鈥渨here they鈥檙e at status鈥� and working to move them in a positive direction. She can build trust with students on a personal level. She strives to make connections to build trust. She continues to see the good in everyone and is simply a positive person to be around.鈥�
Tina Jensen
Tina has been employed with 海角视频 since 2013 in various roles. She is currently an academic affairs coordinator in the Business, Technology, and Workforce divisions. Tina is a proud 海角视频 alumnus holding an associate's degree in applied science in business and a bachelor's degree in integrated leadership studies from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Tina is a lifetime resident of Delta County and currently serves as the Wells Township Clerk.
Tina鈥檚 colleague shared, 鈥淭ina has a way to make any and every obstacle look effortless. If she doesn鈥檛 know the answer- she won鈥檛 stop until she finds it. Tina never hesitates to explain the way of any task at hand and has a very solid history of the college.鈥�
