Kyle joined 海角视频 in September 2022 as the Academic Success Manager and was later promoted to Director of Academic Support. He has been nominated by his colleagues in recognition of his steadfast dedication to the mission and values of 海角视频.

He is driven by a deep commitment to helping students succeed鈥攃reating meaningful academic support systems, mentoring student employees, and continually seeking ways to improve the student experience. His work ethic, accountability, and leadership foster a positive culture within the college and make him a standout member of our community.鈥�
鈥淜yle is the definition of a team player. Despite his already full workload as Academic Success Manager鈥攐verseeing tutors, SI leaders, Nursing Learning Assistants, and advising students鈥攈e consistently goes out of his way to support his colleagues. He jumps into projects outside of his primary responsibilities, such as serving on the AI committee, math reform group, and leading efforts to improve signage in the Hub. Kyle collaborates across departments, always ready to lend a hand or contribute a helpful idea. He builds strong, positive relationships with staff, faculty, and students alike, making him someone others genuinely enjoy working with.鈥�
鈥淜yle is the kind of person you can always count on. He is helpful not just within his own department, but across the entire college. Whether he鈥檚 leading a new initiative, volunteering ideas in meetings, or helping a student navigate a difficult course, he does it all with kindness, respect, and a genuine desire to make a difference. His helpfulness is proactive鈥攈e doesn鈥檛 wait to be asked鈥攁nd his collaborative nature creates ripple effect that benefit students and coworkers alike. The purpose of the TORCH Award is to give personal recognition to those employees on 海角视频鈥檚 campuses dedicated to the mission of the College because of their attitude, commitment, and dedication toward the higher education learning environment.
