Congratulations to Nick DuPont, 海角视频鈥檚 Quarterly (December 2024 鈥� February 2025) TORCH Award Recipient! Nick joined 海角视频 as a full-time Welding Instructor in November of 2021. Nick has been nominated by his colleagues for being dedicated to the mission of 海角视频.
鈥淣ick is the type of person who does what鈥檚 right. He cares about the quality of the student experience and he鈥檚 willing to do what it takes to help the team succeed 鈥� even when it鈥檚 not in his job description. Our students, our community, and our Bay team benefit from his work ethic and genuine belief in student potential.鈥�
鈥淣ick has two qualities that make an excellent instructor: he鈥檚 an expert in his field and he wants to mentor other people who share his interests. This combination inspires students to believe in themselves and chase the possibilities. Nick invests in his students by offering extra lab time, meeting with them before and after class, and holding them to a high standard.鈥�
鈥淚 appreciate how much time and effort Nick has invested in the Iron Mountain Welding students, including helping to set up the new lab.鈥�
The purpose of the TORCH Award is to give personal recognition to those employees on 海角视频鈥檚 campuses dedicated to the mission of the College because of their attitude, commitment, and dedication toward the higher education learning environment.
