In the future, Jeff Williams hopes to become a successful entrepreneur. As part of his plan to accomplish this, he signed up for classes at 海角视频 a few months ago.
Jeff graduated from River Rouge High School in River Rouge, MI in 2018. He opted to get a college education at Bay because of the school鈥檚 reputation for offering excellent business classes.
鈥淚 heard they had a good business program and one-on-one learning,鈥� he said.
Jeff officially became a Bay student during the fall 2023 semester. Despite some rough patches along the way, he said his classes have been going 鈥減retty good鈥� for him on the whole.
鈥淎ll of my classes have been online so far,鈥� he said.
Even so, Jeff has been able to make connections with some of his instructors.
As a Bay student, Jeff has been double majoring in business and programming and user support. While he 鈥渏ust recently鈥� became interested in the latter field, he felt it could help him work toward his dream of becoming a business owner.
鈥淭he only way I feel like I could be a successful entrepreneur is if I work in a field that I鈥檓 comfortable in, and computers are closest to that,鈥� he said.
In addition to his studies, Jeff has found a job on campus. He is now working in the computer lab located in the Joseph Heirman University Center.
鈥淏ay has really good resources for things like that,鈥� he said.
Bay provides student employment opportunities through the Federal Work-Study Program. Students who are interested in applying for one of these positions (or who are wondering whether or not they are eligible to apply) can contact Bay鈥檚 Financial Aid office. Additionally, Bay offers access to off-campus job opportunities through College Central Network庐.
According to Jeff, he hopes to graduate from Bay with an associate degree at some point in 2025. While he is still thinking about his next move after earning this degree, he has greatly enjoyed his time at Bay so far.
鈥淚鈥檓 loving it,鈥� he said.
