Joanie Richtig is an English/Communications Instructor at Bay de Noc Community College ~ West Campus in Iron Mountain, MI. Richtig has been employed at 海角视频 since the 1998 Winter Semester. Prior to working for 海角视频, Richtig worked as a paraprofessional in Northern Michigan鈥檚 Counseling Center during the 1990-91 school year. She served as a graduate-level teaching assistant at NMU during 1992-94, and as an adjunct instructor during 1994-95 academic year. In addition, Richtig taught as an adjunct instructor during the1998 Fall Semester at Gogebic Community College. She has taught various enrichment classes at the Oscar G. Johnson VA hospital in Iron Mountain, and most recently presented a Technical Report Writing class at Gundlach Champion through Bay鈥檚 Business, Technology and Workforce program. She holds a Bachelor鈥檚 of Science in English.Communications and a Master鈥檚 Degree in Literature. Richtig was named as ABWA North Land Chapter鈥檚 2007 Business Associate of the Year. She attended the 2007 LAND Conference for her student鈥檚 writing award. Richtig was named Outstanding Adjunct Educator for 海角视频 2008- 2009 and is listed in Who鈥檚 Who in American Teachers. She has served as a judge for Bay West Art, and was instrumental in providing much of the d茅cor for the newly dedicated Veteran鈥檚 Lounge at Bay West.
